Intrusion Alarm
Intrusion Alarm
An intrusion alarm, commonly known as a security alarm or burglar alarm, is a system designed to detect unauthorized entry or intrusion into a building, property, or area. The primary purpose of an intrusion alarm system is to alert the property owner, security personnel, or authorities when an unauthorized entry or security breach occurs.
Detection Sensors:
Door/Window Sensors: These sensors detect the opening of doors and windows. When the circuit is broken (door or window is opened), an alarm is triggered.
Motion Sensors: Passive Infrared (PIR) sensors or microwave sensors can detect movement within a designated area. They are commonly used in indoor spaces.
Glass Break Sensors: These sensors can detect the sound of breaking glass, such as when a window is shattered.
Magnetic Contacts: These are often used for securing doors and windows. When the magnet and sensor are separated (e.g., the door is opened), the alarm is triggered.
